Recreation

In keeping with the mission statement of The Salvation Army William Booth Special Care Home, the recreation department exists to provide therapeutic recreation programs to all residents of the Home. The recreation department’s programs are designed to enhance and maintain the quality of life of all residents, by targeting residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

Qualified recreation staff assess, plan and implement therapeutic recreation programs designed specifically to meet the needs and abilities of all our residents. The department’s goal is to provide meaningful leisure opportunities that will positively affect the well-being off all residents.
